(Salt Lake City, UT) — Election officials are reminding Utahns about a new deadline for changing parties ahead of June’s statewide primaries. Voters have until March 31st to decide whether they want to vote as Republicans or Democrats. Unaffiliated voters must join one of the parties in order to turn in a ballot in the June 28th primaries. The deadline to declare a party affiliation was changed last year by the Utah Legislature.
