DABC Clears Way For The Return Of Mini-Bottles Of Alcohol

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The board that controls liquor sales in Utah is clearing the way for sales of mini-bottles of alcohol on state liquor store shelves. An advisory board of the Department of Alcohol Beverage Services voted yesterday to allow the sale of smaller bottles of liquor and wine at state DABS stores. The new rule now goes to the full DABS board for review and approval and could go into effect as soon as this fall. The state has previously restricted the sale of mini-bottles to hotels and airlines.
