SANPETE COUNTY, Utah-Tuesday morning, per UDOT Traffic, a significant crash occurred affecting travel in Sanpete County. The incident struck at milepost 247 five miles northeast of Gunnison at 6:50 am MDT. Apparently, this affects traffic going in both directions and the clearance time is anticipated at 8:00 am MDT.

Travelers can get around this incident by using S.R. 137 which will take you to the outskirts of Mayfield. If you’re coming from the south, this highway is accessible at 600 South in Gunnison, parallel to Gunnison Valley High School.
