Sometime between the late afternoon of Monday Feb. 17 and before noon on Feb. 18 a cow was shot west of Nephi on West Meadow Lane.

The owner of the cow, along with the Juab County Sheriff’s Office are looking for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.

Wade Garret, the cow’s owner, stated that “along with losing one of our best cows we also have an orphan calf we’ll have to bottle raise as well.”

Whoever comes forward with information that leads to solving this crime will be eligible for up to $7500  in reward money. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Juab County Sheriff’s office at 435-623-1349.
