Conceal Carry For 18-20-Year-Olds Passed By State House, Goes To SenateÂ

(Salt Lake City, UT)  –  The state House approves allowing 18-to-20-year-olds to get a conceal carry firearm permit.  The  measure was approved in the House along strict party lines earlier this week and is now being considered in the state Senate.  The bill calls for providing an 18-year-old with a provisional permit which would expire at age 21.  The measure also states that the provisional permit would not allow the person to take a firearm onto school grounds.Â
