(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is extending congratulations to Salt Lake for securing the host bid for the 2024 Winter Olympics. In a social media post church officials say they celebrate the news and recall the feelings of unity and peace felt when Utah last hosted the winter games in 2002.
