(Kaysville, UT) — An eight-year-old girl is dead after being hit by a vehicle during a Fourth of July parade in Kaysville. Macie Hill was performing with her cheer team when a Hummer that was part of her group struck her yesterday. Hill was rushed to the hospital and the parade was canceled. Her death was announced on social media yesterday afternoon. Police in Kaysville say the child’s death is under investigation.
