(St. George, UT) – The woman accused of abusing her 12-year-old son now faces additional charges. A judge ruled against objections from Brandy Jaynes’ lawyer in a Saint George courtroom yesterday after prosecutors filed the charges in March, according to “Saint George News.” Investigators say Jaynes kept her son in a restroom covered in fecal matter and that he only weighed 30 pounds when he was discovered in their Toquerville home. Prosecutors filed new charges against Jaynes after they say they became aware of additional injuries the boy suffered. Jaynes now faces three child abuse charges. Â
