(Washington, DC) – The head of the House Oversight Committee is asking the Justice Department to probe the firing of FBI Director James Comey. Utah Republican Jason Chaffetz says he sent a letter to the DOJ Inspector General yesterday urging him to review the decision to fire Comey. Chaffetz previously asked the inspector general to look into the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. The probe into the Comey’s firing will be included in that investigation.Â
