Central Utah Food Bank is going to be holding a food drive Saturday Nov. 9.
They recommend having your food donations out on your porch by 8:30 a.m. for pick up. If it’s not picked up you can also drop it off between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the food bank located at 2050 South Industrial Park Rd.
A food truck will also be located in Salina at the Salina LDS Stake Center for drop offs from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for drop offs.
Rowene Shaw and Bonnie Stewart say that there is more than just food that you can donate. You can donate personal hygiene products, diapers, wipes, toilet paper, paper towels and more.
Shaw and Stewart also stated that they are in need of warm clothing donations for the upcoming winter months. Also monetary donations are greatly appreciated.
The food bank has set a goal of collecting 20,000 lbs of food for the holiday season.
