Around 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 7, authorities were notified of a broken gas line in Ephraim city.

A construction company was digging near 500 east 480 south when they struck the line. According to the Ephraim City Police Department, Dominion Energy was quick to respond and promptly dug to and capped the line.

According to reports no homes were evacuated or had their gas turned off.
