(Brian Head, UT) — Brian Head Resort is pushing back its opening date. The ski area 40 minutes east of Cedar City said yesterday it will open for the season November 17th, one week from this Friday. Resort managers say they need more time to get the runs ready. They’ve started snowmaking but warm temperatures and no precipitation are slowing the process. People who have booked lift tickets dated before November 17th can exchange them for later dates or get refunds.
