(Salt Lake City, UT) — Climate change remains on Utah’s supplemental education standards for science and engineering. The Utah State Board of Education approved the standard by a narrow eight-to-seven vote last week at the end of a 14-hour meeting. The board chose to reject amendments that would have removed climate change from the standard. Climate change was added to science standards in 2019.
