The BLM Fillmore Field Office is beginning wild horse gathering and research on Tuesday.

This wild horse gather in the Conger Herd Management Area (HMA) west of Delta.

The public is welcome to observe daily operations through BLM-escorted tours.

Those interested in participating should meet at the Border Inn Gas Station at the junction of Hwy 6 west of Delta. Tours will depart at 6:30 a.m. daily.

All horses gathered will be shipped to the Delta Wild Horse Facility which will be closed November 27 through December 18 to allow the researches to study the horses before they’re returned.
