BLM Agrees To Stop Work At Dinosaur Tracksite Near Moab

(Moab, UT) — The Bureau of Land Management is stopping work at a site near Moab after accusations about damage to ancient dinosaur tracks. The agency released a statement yesterday saying it will stop construction work at the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Tracksite to allow paleontologists to conduct an assessment. A paleontologist will also be on-site when construction resumes. The BLM did not admit to causing any damage. Pictures on social media over the weekend show several areas where heavy equipment apparently damaged or destroyed several dinosaur tracks.
