The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing boy who’s runaway from a youth program.

13-year-old Roberto Madrigal is missing from The Redcliff Ascent program for youth in the remote desert area in Western Beaver County.

He’s wearing tan shorts and a brown cargo shirt.

Campers in the West Desert near Pine Valley and Rose Canyon are asked to be on the lookout and to contact local law enforcement if he’s seen.

He might have some water with him, but dehydration is a concern because of the high temperatures.

The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office and search and rescue are leading the search Thursday.
