Audit Finds No Widespread Fraud in Utah’s 2020 Election

(Salt Lake City, UT) — An audit of Utah’s election system found no widespread fraud in the state’s 2020 election. But the audit by the state’s Office of Legislative Auditor General also concluded improvements in Utah’s election system can be made. The audit found minor discrepancies between the number of ballots cast and the number of votes counted in some counties but there was no evidence of systematic errors or significant fraud. Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson says she’s pleased auditors found no systematic fraud.
