An estimated 30,000 flock to Manti Friday

The second to the last performance of the Mormon Miracle Pageant Friday night brought over 30,000 people to Manti to witness the show which is now in its final season after over 52 years.

This brings the total audience estimates for the final 2019 season to over 130,000 with the final performance scheduled for Saturday at 9:30/pm.

According to officials, this is the largest audience to ever attend the Manti Pageant. When the lights fade out Saturday following the performance will mark the end of over 52 years of continuous pageant performances every summer on the Manti Temple Hill.

This not only the largest audience to ever see the pageant in a single season but this is also the largest cast to ever participate with over 1,300 performing in this year’s event.

According to estimates, over 40,000 people have participated in the cast over the past 52 years and about four and a half million people have traveled to Manti to watch.
