Amended Bill To Prohibit Vaccine Passports Advances In State Senate

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that seeks to prevent businesses from requiring proof of vaccination from workers and customers is advancing in the Utah Senate. The Senate’s Taxation and Revenue Committee approved an amended version of House Bill 60 on a 7-2 vote yesterday. The bill was changed during the committee meeting to allow businesses to ask for proof of immunity status from employees.
