Police closed SR 119 for several hours on Thursday evening following an auto-pedestrian accident between Richfield and Glenwood.

10 year old Harley Howells was riding his bicycle in the roadway when a car traveling West hit him around 5:30.

Howells passed away after being transported to the hospital.

Officials are still investigating, but don’t believe drugs, alcohol or speeding were factors.
