In the afternoon of Nov. 23 a ten year old boy was struck by a bullet while riding in a car on Highway 89.
According to the Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office a group of people were target shooting while facing towards the highway.
A stray bullet traveled through the vehicle’s windshield, traveling near Mt. Pleasant, and into the shoulder of the ten year old boy.
Doctors were able to remove the bullet and the boy is expected to make a full recovery.
So far nobody has been arrested in the incident, but deputies are talking to multiple suspects.
