A new Miss Mt. Pleasant was crowned on Saturday evening, and she and her court will represent the city this year at numerous county events.  Ally Brotherson, daughter of Rich and Molly Brotherson, is the new queen, receiving the crown from outgoing Miss Mt. Pleasant, Rylee McKay.  Brotherson’s platform is L.I.V.E. (Learn the needs, become Involved by Volunteering Enthusiastically!).  Callie Goble, daughter of Rick and Stacy Goble, is first attendant; and Gyllian Nelson, daughter of Kevin and Lacey Jorgensen and Travis Nelson, will serve as second attendant.
