The White House Commands Older People To Stay Home, All Large Crowds Be Avoided

WASHINGTON-Monday, The White House encouraged all older Americans to stay home and for everyone to avoid crowds and eat out at restaurants during U.S. President Donald Trump’s press briefing.

This is to avoid an unexpected surge of coronavirus cases in the nation. Trump admitted that this pandemic could possibly send the U.S. into a recession.

Trump suggested the nation my be dealing with COVID-19 through July or perhaps even August.

These guidelines include gatherings being limited to 10 or less people, schooling being done at home and discretionary travel and social visits being avoided.

Should anyone in a household test positive for the virus, everyone living there should stay home.

Incidentally, these present restrictions are only through the end of March.

When asked when the pandemic would subside, Trump stated he hopes that if a really good job is done, COVID-19 can be extinguished by “the height of summer.”

Trump confirmed the pandemic was not under control but did not yet call for any domestic travel restrictions.

Trump also said the airlines would be backed “100 percent.”

During the pressing, U.S. General Surgeon Dr. Jerome Adams said currently the United States is where Italy was two weeks ago in the coronavirus struggle. This is a sign, Adams said, that infections are expected to rise.

However, Adams also said the U.S. has opportunities to mitigate this pandemic.

During the pressing, the White House also confirmed it would cancel the annual Easter Egg holiday hunt which annually occurs on the South Lawn.
