(Millcreek, UT)  –  A woman is dead after trying to save her dogs from a fast-moving Salt Lake County creek and then being overcome by the current.  The unidentified 58-year-old was walking with her husband at Tanner Park early yesterday evening when her dogs went into Parleys Creek and began struggling.  The dogs made it out of the water, but the woman was swept away and reportedly remained underwater for more than a minute before being rescued by bystanders.  CPR was attempted, but the woman could not be revived.Â
