OGDEN, Utah-Thursday, Weber State University signed head football coach Jay Hill to a 2-year extension.
This will keep him as the Wildcats’ head coach through the 2025 season.
Hill became the 11th head coach in program history in December 2013.
In January 2017, he signed a five-year extension, adding two more years to his contract in December 2017.
The 45-year-old Hill is 47-30 (.610) at Weber State and 34-14 (.708) in Big Sky Conference games.
In the past three seasons, Hill has led the Wildcats to a 21-3 (.875) record in conference games.
Hill has coached 13 players to All-American honors 21 times and has 84 All-Big Sky Conference honors to his credit.
The Wildcats commence an abbreviated springs season February 27 at Idaho State.
