Men’s Basketball

RANGELY, Colo.-Matt Norman posted 16 points and 4 assists on 7-13 from the field as the Snow Badgers bludgeoned Colorado Northwestern 100-63 in SWAC men’s basketball action Saturday at Hefley Gym.

Tredyn Christensen added 14 points and 5 rebounds for the Badgers, who improved to 8-2 and 3-0 in SWAC play with the win.

The Badgers shot 53.2 percent (41-7) from the field in the victory.

Seena Namdar had 16 points on 5-8 from the field to pace the Spartans in defeat.

Snow returns to action Thursday to face the Southern Idaho Golden Eagles at the Activity Center in Ephraim.

Women’s Basketball

RANGELY, Colo.-Samiana Sugturaga led the way with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Japrix Weaver added 19 points on 8-13 from the field and 3-4 behind the arc as the Snow Badgers routed Colorado Northwestern 82-59 Saturday at Hefley Gym.

The Badgers improved to 7-2 and 2-1 in SWAC play with the victory. Snow returns to action Thursday at 5:00 pm to host Southern Idaho at the Activity Center.
