MONROE, Utah-Presley Chapell amassed 29 points and the South Sevier Rams got past Richfield 40-34 Thursday in Region 12 girls basketball action. Nicole Willardson’s 10 points led the Wildcats in defeat.
Region 14
DELTA, Utah-Jadee Dutson stepped up with 12 points and the Delta Rabbits downed Manti 53-49 at the Palladium, clinching the Region 14 girls title Thursday at the Palladium. Heidi Jorgenson had 15 points for the Templars in the loss.
Region 16
SALINA, Utah-Oakley Butler led the way with 17 points and the Duchesne Eagles humbled North Sevier 47-37 in Region 16 girls basketball action Thursday. Brooklyn Butler had 12 points for the Wolves in defeat.
Region 18
PAROWAN, Utah-Paige Cummings netted 22 points on four 3-pointers as the Millard Eagles outlasted Parowan 71-69 Thursday in Region 18 girls basketball action. Brooklyn Hulet had 20 points in defeat for the Rams.
BEAVER, Utah-Halle Hutchings stepped up with 11 points while the Beaver Beavers pummeled Enterprise 51-35 in Region 18 girls basketball action Thursday. Lomani Taylor and Treshor Phelps had 8 points apiece for the Wolves in the loss.
