FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.-Friday, Dixie State women’s swimming competed at Flagstaff, Ariz. in a dual against Northern Arizona. The Lumberjacks prevailed 157-101, but former Millard High School star, sophomore Drew Roper, contributed to the Trailblazers’ efforts.
Roper competed in the women’s 200-yard meter relay, with teammates, freshman Kathryn Carter, sophomore Kyrie Sutherland and sophomore Claire Kieffer.
Roper swam her portion in a time of 28:82.
Roper also competed in the women’s 100-yard backstroke, placing fifth in a time of 1:01.31.
In the women’s 50-yard freestyle, Roper placed seventh in a time of 25:85.
In the women’s 200-yard backstroke, Roper finished sixth in a time of 2:18.81.
Saturday, Roper and her teammates compete in the Grand Canyon Dual at Phoenix.
