(Salt Lake City, UT) — Asians and multiracial populations are the fastest-growing ethnic groups in Utah. “The Deseret News” cites new Census data showing both groups grew by six percent between 2015 and last year. Analysts say growth of the Asian community is mostly from many highly educated immigrants coming to the U.S. from Asia. The growth of the multiracial population is mostly from births by bi-racial couples.
