Teen Shot By Police Pleads Guilty

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The case of the Utah teen charged with robbery and drug possession after getting shot by Salt Lake City police is resolved in a plea deal. Abdullahi Mohamed pleaded guilty to lesser charges of third degree aggravated assault and drug possession this morning in juvenile court. He was accused of hitting a man with a rake handle near a homeless shelter last year. He’s now confined to a wheel chair after getting shot four times by police officers responding to the incident.
