(Brian Head, UT) – Fire fighters are battling more winds and hot weather today as the Brian Head Fire swells to almost 50-thousand acres. The fire grew by about three-thousand acres overnight into yesterday with containment still hovering around ten percent. Fire officials said earlier this week it may be until the middle of next month that the fire is completely contained. So far, over a dozen homes have been destroyed by the blaze but luckily, no one has been hurt. The fire started more than ten days ago by someone using a weed torch. No word on whether prosecutors plan to file any charges. Â
