(Undated) — The Department of Public Safety is warning people to check local firework restrictions in their area before the Fourth of July. Separate cities have different restrictions for residents. One universal rule is that fireworks that leave the ground are considered illegal. The Department of Public Safety has posted a map on their website of areas where the use of all fireworks is banned.
