BYU-San Diego State To Meet On Gridiron In December

PROVO, Utah-Friday, BYU football confirmed a meeting against San Diego State will occur December 12 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

The Cougars and Aztecs were slated to play November 14 before the Mountain West postponed the fall season this past August.

San Diego State is coached by Brady Hoke who commences his second tour of duty with the Aztecs in 2020. Hoke, who is 78-72 (.520) in 14 seasons as an NCAA FBS college football head coach, went 13-12 (.520) in three prior seasons coaching San Diego State.

Hoke has also coached at Ball State (2003-2008), Michigan (2011-2014) and Tennessee (2017).

The Cougars have traditionally dominated the Aztecs on the gridiron, leading the all-time series 28-8-1.

This represents BYU’s 10th scheduled game of the season.
