DENVER (KUSA-9) Because of south-central Utah’s remote location, far way from Salt Lake City and its unique geography, many times northern Utah meteorologists don’t quite see what’s going on in our atmosphere.
Consistently, however, KUSA-TV Channel 9 of Denver meteorologist Marty Coniglio, has pinpointed weather in our coverage area.
Today on his forecast, he sees anywhere from one inch to an inch and a half of precipitation in much of our region. This, per his metric, seems primarily fixated on the corridor from Panguitch, stretching northeast as far as Duchesne and Roosevelt.
Manti and Richfield seem to be in the thick of this. If you see heavy rain while traveling, please drive safely, even more so than usual.
