Saturday, officers responded to an incident up Chalk Creek Canyon after hearing reports of a man pointing a gun at people when shots were fired.
Levi was located by officers who headed toward his residence on Chalk Creek Canyon Road (200 South) in Fillmore.
The probable cause affidavit states Levi smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage as he was detained in handcuffs.
At least 11 witnesses testified that Levi had threatened five people, including a juvenile, by pulling a gun out of his waistband, pointing it at them.
Levi reportedly made a comment concerning their Trump flags on a four-wheeler.
He reportedly threatened the juvenile, saying he would break into his home and kill his family.
Levi then went down the mountain, finding his wife, who had previously fled as Levi had pointed a gun at her head, threatening to kill her in front of five people, per the affidavit.
Upon approaching the group again, Levi reportedly pointed the gun at the witnesses, firing it out of the window of his vehicle.
Before getting out of the vehicle, he had ceased fire, pulling out what was described as an “AR-type rifle,” and pointing it at the people, the affidavit stated.
He then went back into the vehicle and fled down the mountain. It is believed Levi had thrown the weapons out of the car’s window by this time.
As they searched, the public safety dispatch records confirmed Levi had no driver’s license.
Levi was subsequently arrested and booked into jail. He scored .144 on a breathalyzer test. This is well over the allotted alcohol blood level threshold for the Beehive State.
