CEDAR CITY, Utah-(ABC 4 News) Per a report from ABC 4 Utah News in Salt Lake City, a Cedar City man has been accused of mutilating and attacking a woman.

22-year-old Brandon Lee Wall was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.

A probable cause statement associated with the incident states Wall pushed the woman on the ground. He then reportedly climbed on top of her, per the statement, took a piece of broken glass and carved a “profane word” in her stomach.

Police stated the victim had reported the assault occurred a few weeks prior to this, but the officers saw scars on her stomach that were consistent with her assertions.

The woman told police she was completely sure Wall was her attacker as she clearly saw his face as he spoke to her, documents assert.

Wall was booked into the Iron County Jail in Cedar City.
