BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-Former Utah State signal-caller Jordan Love has engaged in video-calls with six NFL teams ahead of next month’s NFL Draft.
Statements from Matt Miller of the Bleacher Report confirm Love has connected with the Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints via this technology.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic virtually shut the United States, among other nations, down, the Dolphins had previously invited Love to their facilities.
Love, a native of Bakersfield, Calif., who will turn 22 November 2, is considered among the top quarterbacks in this year’s draft class.
ESPN college football analyst/draft expert Todd McShay called Love the quarterback with the “highest upside” in this year’s draft.
During his time at Logan, the 6-4 225-pound Love threw for 8,600 yards, completed 61.2 percent of his passes (689-1,125) for 60 touchdowns and 29 interceptions.
His best season with the Aggies came in 2018 when he completed 64 percent of his passes for 32 touchdowns and six interceptions.
