The Richfield Ranger District is planning a prescribed burn at Steve’s Basin today. The fire will continue over the next couple of days as weather and clearing allows.

Steve’s Basin Prescribed Fire Project will involve the remaining 300 acres of cut and cured pinyon-juniper slash activity fuels.

This project is located in Sevier county, approximately 6 miles east of Salina, Utah.
