SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Officials in Utah say all eight of the public colleges and universities in the state have either canceled or postponed its graduation ceremonies over coronavirus concerns. The Utah System of Higher Education made the announcement Wednesday. It comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urged people to avoid groups of more than 10 people for the next eight weeks. It is unclear how many Utah students were set to graduate this spring, but about 190,000 were enrolled across the eight campuses. Each of the eight schools have already closed their campuses across the state and moved classes online for the semester to avoid spreading the illness.
