(Salt Lake City, UT) — Fire personnel from around Utah are heading to California to fight two massive wildfires.

Officials with the Utah Fire Authority say several groups of firefighters are leaving Thursday, driving fire engines loaded with supplies.

Sixteen state fire departments including Provo, Cedar City, and Fairview, and the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands are sending crews to the fires in southern California.
