Two California men are now facing several drug related charges after they were found with 10 lbs of marijuana traveling through Sevier County on Friday.
The two men were pulled over for speeding along I-70. When the officer spoke to the driver, he could smell marijuana. The driver told he did have a few ounces in the car.
After a search of the car, police found 10 vacuum sealed packages containing a pound of marijuana in each.
Phillip Kirk is being charged with distribution of marijuana, suspended drivers license, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Anneke Borges is being charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
