A Pair of Richfield High School Athletes Sign Leters of Intent To Compete in College

RICHFIELD, Utah-With Wednesday serving as national letter of intent day for various student-athletes across the country, a pair of Richfield High School athletes signed letters of intent to compete collegiately in their respective sports.

Wildcats cross country/track/basketball athlete Hayden Harward signed a letter of intent to compete in cross country at Southern Utah University.

Harward swept the 3-A 800, 1600 and 3200-meter race championships at last May’s UHSAA Track & Field Championships at Robison Track on the campus of Brigham Young University.

His basketball teammate, Morgan Albrecht, who also excels at baseball for the Wildcats, signed with the College of Southern Idaho to play baseball for the Golden Eagles at Twin Falls, Idaho.

In his baseball career with the Wildcats, Albrecht has amassed a .399 batting average, a .522 on-base percentage, 91 hits and 85 RBI while appearing in 81 games.
