Utah Jazz Sign Isaac Haas and Mike Scott

SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, the Utah Jazz announced the signings of center Isaac Haas and guard Mike Scott.

Per the team’s policy, terms of these deals were not released.

The 7-2, 290-pound Haas starred at Purdue, later playing for the Jazz’s NBA G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars last season.

With the Stars, Haas netted 9.9 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 66.2 percent from the field.

Haas was a finalist for the 2018 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar award with the Boilermakers while also earning The Associated Press Honorable Mention and All-Big Ten third team honors following his final season at Purdue.

Scott is a 6-foot 180-pound guard out of Idaho who last played for Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski of the Polish Basketball League in 2018-19.

While there, Scott amassed 11.8 points, 4.5 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 26.9 minutes per game.

Additionally, he has played overseas with KK Split and KK Jolly Jadranska of the A-1 Croatian League (2016-18) and with BC Siauliai of the Lithuanian Basketball League (2015-16).

As a collegian, Scott starred at Antelope Valley CC (Calif.) (2011-13) before going to Idaho (2013-15). With the Vandals, Scott averaged 14 points, 5.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists as a senior for a 13-17 squad.
