(Tacoma, WA) — The Rainiers scored five runs in the second inning to beat the Bees 8-3 in Tacoma.
Jared Walsh went 2-for-3 with an RBI and pitched the ninth inning, striking out two while not allowing a hit. Parker Bridwell gave up six runs on five hits and four walks over three innings to fall to 6-and-6.
Salt Lake, which fell to 55-and-73, will continue its 11-game road trip tonight as they take on Tacoma again.
