OGDEN, Utah-Tuesday, Weber State appointed women’s soccer coach Tim Crompton as the interim athletic director to replace the departed Jerry Bovee who has joined Utah State’s athletic department.
Crompton assumes this role after spending the past 15 years as the Wildcats’ women’s soccer head coach.
In his stead, his former assistant coach, Meagan Thunell, will serve as Weber State’s head coach.
Crompton was named as the Big Sky head coach of the year in 2018 as his Wildcats won the conference regular season title with a 7-1-1 record.
Crompton had a 50-47-16 record in Big Sky regular season matches during his tenure.
He has both bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Weber State.
