Weber State Football Names Skyler Ridley As New Assistant Coach

OGDEN, Utah-Tuesday, Weber State football announced the promotion of Skyler Ridley as a new assistant with the program. Head coach Jay Hill confirmed Ridley will coach the Wildcats’ tight ends.

Ridley has spent the last three years with the program as an assistant coach.

In this capacity, he has served as an offensive coach for the Wildcats, overseeing various positions.

Ridley, a native of Murrieta, Calif., played at BYU from 2010-2013 as a receiver.

While with the Cougars, he amassed 58 grabs for 659 yards and three scores.

He earned a degree in psychology from BYU in 2014 as well as a Master’s in Professional Communication at Weber State in December 2017.

Ridley commenced his coaching career at Bountiful High School, coaching the Braves’ receivers and defensive backs in 2014 and 2015.
