POCATELLO, Idaho-Saturday, as Weber State’s indoor track and field team competed at the Dragila Invitational at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena at Pocatello, Idaho, a former Gunnison High track star showed well for the Wildcats.

Kate Sorensen, a sophomore who specializes in hurdles and sprints, placed second in the 400-meter dash in a time of 57.57 seconds.

Sorensen has primarily excelled in outdoor competition as she was the 33rd best 400-meter hurdles competitor in the NCAA West regional last spring.
