OGDEN, Utah-Tuesday, Weber State men’s basketball hosts Benedictine (Ariz.) before Tuesday at the Dee Events Center fresh off of an impressive performance at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.

The Wildcats boast the Big Sky Conference player of the week in junior guard Jerrick Harding, who is averaging 26 points and 5 rebounds on the season while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Additionally, senior forward/center Zach Braxton has reached 1,000 points for his collegiate career in the early going this season.

The 3-2 Wildcats will be meeting the NAIA Thunderbirds of Mesa, Ariz. for the first time in program history.

Presently, Weber State is averaging 83.8 points on the season and surrendering 71.4 points per contest.
