NEPHI, Utah-Alexa Walker, Brinley Bender, Marissa Hall, Paige Hanson and Reggie Myers each scored as the Juab Wasps routed Carbon 5-1 Thursday in Region 14 girls soccer action.
Volleyball
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-The Juab Wasps swept Maeser 3-0 Thursday in Region 14 girls volleyball action. The Wasps used wins of 25-8, 25-17 and 25-20 to prevail easily against the Lions.
Region 18
KANAB, Utah-Kanab prevailed 3-1 in Region 18 girls volleyball action Thursday. Kanab used wins of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-12 to win easily against the Beavers. The Beavers netted a 27-25 win in the third set.
SALINA, Utah-The Enterprise Wolves amassed a 3-0 win Thursday over North Sevier in Region 18 action. Enterprise prevailed 25-14, 25-21 and 25-18 in the easy victory.
FILLMORE, Utah-The Gunnison Bulldogs outlasted the Millard Eagles 3-2 in Region 18 volleyball action Thursday. The Bulldogs used wins of 25-20, 25-21 and 15-9 in the clincher to pull out the victory. Millard netted wins of 25-23 and 25-10.
Region 21
MILFORD, Utah-The Milford Tigers dismantled Tintic 3-0 in Region 21 volleyball action Thursday. The Tigers used 25-10, 25-17 and 25-15 wins to make quick work of the Miners in the region tilt.
