SALT LAKE CITY-Per a Tuesday announcement, the times for the Zions Bank Beehive Classic, slated for December 8 at the Vivint Smart Arena in downtown Salt Lake City were announced.

The annual classic, featuring the men’s basketball programs of Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, Weber State University and Utah State University, will see BYU play Utah at noon and Utah State draw Weber State at 2:30 p.m.

As of 10:00 a.m. August 21, ticket sales for this event commence through each of these respective schools’ athletic department ticket offices. This can also be done through the Vivint Smart Arena box office and online at vivintarena.com.

Ticket purchases will provide entry for both of these games.

Last year’s Zions Bank Beehive Classic was the inaugural event and netted $30,000 in total contribution to the scholarship funds of these institutions.

In last December’s games at this event, Utah bested Utah State 77-67 and BYU got past Weber State 74-68.
